So, I did change the basis to WDZ.

Don Alejandro sighed. He was glad his son was Zorro but he's still unmarried! "I don't want to live here without the pitter-patter of little feet"

He decided to confront Diego about the matter.

"Son, I am not pushing you or anything, but," Don Alejandro began, "I am growing sick of your unmarried state, worse is you're using your identity Zorro as an excuse!"

"But, father—"

"This is enough! Either you show your identity to a señorita you will marry or I burn your mask and give away Tornado!" Don Alejandro angrily gave his son's choices.

"Fine father, I will marry, but the one I love is in love with the legend and not with the real man!" Diego reasoned, recalling Ana Maria.

"You know Ana Maria only loves the legend and not the real you, but you insist on loving her!"

"I will go to Monterey and see if she still loves Zorro, then I'll reveal my secret to her" Diego promised. He then went out the door and prepared his horse and finally went for Monterey.

"Wait, your departure is a little rushed!" Don Alejandro shouted, but Diego and Bernardo were now too far

Ana Maria sadly went to the window where Zorro used as an escape-way. She wished Zorro was there, embracing her. She still remembered those days with him. She prepared for another night—another night alone without any masked man barging in her window.

She heard a soft knock on her window. She feared it could be a robber, or worse. But more damage was to be done if she was going to be hard-headed. She slowly opened a window and a sight shocked her. A black glove—it couldn't be.

Her mind told her to say "Robbers!" or "Murderers!" But she followed her heart and whispered "Zorro?"

The black-gloved hand took hold of hers. The other opened the window fully and Ana Maria gasped in surprise.

"So you still remember me, señorita?" Zorro smirked.

"Of course, Zorro, how can I forget you barging into my door? I missed you, really" Ana Maria smiled as her loved one had appeared to her after all the months they were away.

"Well, I remembered the times you would insist on unmasking me" Zorro chuckled. "Are your parents home?"

"No, they are going to a place here in Monterey. They'll be staying there for a week. But what do you mean about my insistence of you unmasking?"

"I'm revealing myself to you, mi amor," Zorro admitted. "But I am afraid you will not believe me,"

"I trust you"

He bent down and kissed her, thinking it will be his last. He took off his hat the slowly untied his satin mask.

When he finished, Ana Maria gasped in astonishment and shock.

"Dios mio!"
